TITLE: Clerical Support Specialist
DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of the Energy Services Division Manager or his/her designee, the Clerical Support Specialist will provide receptionist duties, telephone, clerical support and data entry, with information and referral as needed to maintain efficient flow of information in multi-faceted office. The Clerical Support Specialist will also assist other staff with various duties, including but not limited to: the processing of invoices and billings, tracking weatherization client files, completion of required reports, and other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Any combination of training and experience equivalent to graduation from high school
• 1 year typing, clerical and office support or equivalent experience
• Experience in working with the public
• Computer operations, including experience with word, excel and data processing
• Ability to perform all functions of the position as it has been described and shown on the job description.
IF HIRED, the following WILL be required:
• Must have means and capacity to perform job related duties with personal vehicle, as may be required.
• Valid California Driver’s License with current DMV printout showing acceptable driving record and current auto insurance.
• Submit to fingerprinting for criminal record clearance and background check with acceptable results.
• Home telephone or other means of communication.
STATUS: 1 – 2 positions, part-time and fulltime
SALARY: $10.00 per hour
