AFACTR Now Hiring for 2017 - 2018 Term

Are you ready to serve families in Humboldt County while receiving a living allowance and earning an Education Award and much more?  Redwood Community Action Agency’s AFACTR AmeriCorps Program is now recruiting for the Fall term.  AFACTR members serve full time for a year at family resource centers around Humboldt County including outlying areas.  They help to strengthen families in need and promote resilience by providing case management and parenting education.   The many benefits include:  a living allowance of $17,750.00 which is divided into bi-monthly payments, an Education Award of $5920.00 upon program completion which can be used to pay off school loans or toward school in the future, student loan forbearance and interest paid during service, basic health care insurance, child care benefit if eligible, excellent training and on the job experience in social service work and being part of a nationwide team of AmeriCorps members.  Please contact Daniel Gallardo, AFACTR AmeriCorps Program Coordinator, at 707 269-2047 or dgallardo@rcaa.org.
