Additional Pages for Multiple Assistance Center

The Family Services Division of Redwood Community Action Agency (RCAA) provides diverse and comprehensive services to clients who are homeless, at risk of homelessness and disabled, and low-to moderate-income persons. The Division offers three transitional living programs: Bridge House, Safe Haven, and the Multiple Assistance Center. These programs help families transition from homelessness into stable housing and provide a myriad of services including budgeting classes and daycare. The Family Services Division also offers further support to Humboldt County’s homeless, and services to help individuals and families who are at risk of homelessness, through Humboldt Housing Now.

RCAA offers education, coordination and encouragement as the client works through the barriers to self-sufficiency. A client may have one pressing need or a combination of issues to be addressed. From initial intake to independence and self-sufficiency, RCAA's Family Services Division is continually challenging itself to develop and refine strategies that assist families to move from crisis to stability and beyond. Continued and targeted support is necessary for the development of healthy, stable, thriving families along all points of the continuum of care. We are committed to identifying any gaps and providing services and support where necessary.

RCAA is an essential member of the emergency network responsible for information and referral around specific issues and resources within Humboldt County.
