Join peninsula residents and our community partners (Surfrider, Green Diamond, FoxFarm Soils, the County of Humboldt, the Harbor District, PacOut Green Team, Humboldt Bay Social Club to name a few) to help keep the beaches safe and clean for everyone's enjoyment!
Bring your quaran-team and check in at the Fairhaven Fire Station to grab limited clean up supplies (or bring your own!). Pick up debris anywhere on the peninsula and return it to our dumpster.
Prizes available. Plus! Capture a photo of you and your team responsibly dumping trash during the Trash Bash, and the Humboldt Bay Social Club will be offer you a special Happy Hour menu to help celebrate your good deeds.
This is organized by the Peninsula Community Collaborative, an RCAA-assisted group made possible with funding from St. Joseph Health.
How do RCAA's programs impact you?
- Natural Resouces Services (NRS) works directly with Humboldt County community leaders, schools and parents to improve safety and encourage more children to safely walk and bicycle to school. NRS helps coordinate both the Greater Eureka and Humboldt County Safe Routes to School Task Forces.
- Teaching preschoolers oral health care is a result of the TOOTH program.
- Natural Resources Services works with community members, civic groups and local jurisdictions to enhance neighborhood street tree planting and support the development of community forests for public access and watershed protection.
